Not a recipe, more of a request, but this community seems pretty inactive so maybe this can jump start it!

| Roasted Garlic Soup |

I recently purchased a pound of garlic because it was on sale ($1.50! For a pound of garlic!) and once I was home with it, I wasn't sure what to do with it. Garlic soup sounded like a great idea, but I didn't know where to start, so I found this gem in The Joy of Cooking and adapted it a wee bit.

Hey Guys!
I just made this recipe for dinner tonight and thought i'd share it. I had to use this using shitake mushrooms as i couldnt find any oyster mushrooms at the supermarket today. My dad got home from work as i was serving it and was like "it isnt vegan is it?!?!" i said yes it was, but to his surprise he loved it, polished off his serving and finished what i didnt eat.
